Samantha Mui is a native of the California, Bay Area and now resides in Chicago. A former culinary student and current food blogger, she has worked in and out of the food industry for more than a decade. Her cooking style is inspired by her travels abroad where she has experienced culture through cuisine. She has been a guest on the Bay Area TV show Check, Please, a finalist on Food Network’s Supermarket Stakeout and a beta streamer on the culinary streaming platform, Kittch. I started this blog in 2015 while living abroad in Shanghai, China.
I am a Culinary Dropout and I’ve been in-n-out of the food & hospitality industry for more than a decade.

I use food as a vehicle to connect with others and to learn about other cultures.
I started my first solo travel in Europe in May 2017, and by May 2018, I will have been to 13 countries for this year.
